Caring Soul operates strictly as a non-profit and non-fund raising organisation. The founders believe that any form of activities that involved finance are best left to others who have the proper permit to do so.
In the event that there is any entity that uses Caring Soul’s name to solicit any form of financial assistance, please ignore it.
All Caring Soul’s activities are strictly funded by the founders themselves. Volunteers are however responsible for their own personal expenses when participating in any event.
Caring Soul’s philosophy of charity work is derived from the wisdom of a sage who once enlightened the founders with his personal advice that charity has to be carried out selectively and wisely.
It is on this premise that Caring Soul decided to embark onto a mission of just voluntary work minus the monetary aspect.
What Caring Soul wants from its members is just the time and compassionate hearts of those who wants to make a difference to the lives of the needy by spending time and caring for them.
Caring Soul’s years of interacting with dozens of charity homes has taught us to the bear in mind the following statements when carrying out our charity work :-
1. We are all equals and therefore have our flaws and limitations
2. We must first learn to take care of ourselves followed by our family members and then our fellow volunteers before taking care of others
3. We will not seek self glory for the charity work we carry out
4. We must remember that certain tasks are beyond our capabilities
5. We will not solicit funds to enrich ourselves and to always give more than we receive
6. We will always remember our tagline “colouring lives” by alleviating the woes of the needy and to bring some joy to them
7. We will endeavour to impart to the young the right values of helping others who are in need
8. We will not criticise the ways in which other charity organisations carry out their activities
9. We will reach out to the compassionate hearts of the people and encourage them to do good for the needy
10. We, in carrying out our activities, must not engage in supporting any parties with political, religious or business agendas
